For the first time since the original series was made, I've been able
to watch them from Dan Briggs onward. Fox Classics here in Oz has
screened series 1 and most of 2. To date, I think "The Town" is my
favourite.

Couple of questions - were most of the episodes filmed in California
and was 'home' for IMG meant to be Washington?

And a silly question - did they ever refuse to accept a mission, do
you think ("Sorry Jim, not this time. I'm washing my hair and Rollin
has developed a rash from all the latex.")?

Cheers all.

1) Yes. 2) Dunno, but it seems plausible.

This falls under Mission Impossible Plots We Would Have Loved To See:

* Willy's androgen stash is secretly discovered.
* Barney forgets which lead is which and electrocutes a small town.
* Cinnamon has a bad hair day.
* All the cards up Paris' sleeve fall out.
* Rollin has a sudden and abrupt voice change while trying to emulate an
abdicating dictator.
* Casey has to take on a role that doesn't require her to be a young,
attractive female. (That old-woman role she had to do doesn't count. :P)
* Dan accidentally throws a tape in the *regular* garbage can, allowing it
to be discovered by Congress, which cuts off funding to the IMF for meddling
in international politics despite aggrieved denials from the Secretary.

And the #1 Mission Impossible Plot We Would Have Loved To See:

* Jim doesn't accept the mission.

has brought the wrong equipment and spends the next three days looking
for a Radio Shack.
